Operating history

The franchise system is built on affiliate-owned Las Vegas tint shops operating since 2015 (as Pro Tint USA), acquired by current ownership in 2021, rebranded to Polar Tint in 2024, franchising since 2025 — not a concept pitched to financiers. The training curriculum and operating playbook come from those shops, and each officer's business experience is disclosed in FDD Item 2.

Glacier Manufacturing is Polar Tint's affiliated manufacturer. Franchisees buy window film, application tools and other designated shop items from affiliated manufacturer Glacier Manufacturing, currently the exclusive supplier of those items under FDD Item 8.

Polar Tint LLC is headquartered at 799 Middlegate Road, Henderson, NV 89011. Franchise development, training, marketing, and operations support all run from HQ. The Summerlin and Henderson affiliate shops sit nearby and serve as live training sites for incoming franchisees.

    Our COO becomes CEO of affiliate LV Pro Tint, LLC in Las Vegas — the operating shop whose playbook the franchise system is later built on. Window film, ceramic coating, and paint protection film services running under one roof.

    Operating ownership expands

    Kiffor Investment Group purchases controlling interests of affiliate LV Pro Tint, LLC (FDD Item 1).

  3. Sep 2024

    Polar Tint LLC formed

    Polar Tint LLC, the franchisor, is formed as a Nevada limited liability company on September 3, 2024. Its business is the Polar Tint franchise system, which is built on the playbook of the affiliate shops in Summerlin and Henderson, operating since 2015 (as Pro Tint USA).

    Glacier Manufacturing under common ownership

    Polar Tint's CEO becomes managing member of Glacier Manufacturing in September 2024, with the rest of the leadership team joining as co-owners in November 2024.

  5. Apr 2025

    Frostbite Marketing co-ownership

    Polar Tint's leadership team becomes co-owners of Frostbite Marketing, LLC — the affiliate formed to provide marketing services to the Polar Tint franchise system (FDD Item 1); franchisees pay it the local marketing fee disclosed in FDD Item 6.

  6. May–Aug 2025

    Franchising begins

    Polar Tint LLC begins offering franchises on May 14, 2025 (FDD Item 1). In August 2025, Polar Tint is listed on the SBA Franchise Directory (the listing is not an SBA endorsement), so qualified buyers can apply for SBA 7(a) financing through a lender. Polar Tint does not provide financing (FDD Item 10).

  7. Apr 28, 2026

    2026 FDD issued

    Polar Tint issues its 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document, later amended June 4, 2026. Initial investment: disclosed in FDD Item 7. Initial term and renewal conditions: disclosed in FDD Item 17.

  8. Jun 2026

    Joins the International Franchise Association

    Polar Tint LLC becomes a Franchisor member of the International Franchise Association (IFA), the franchising industry's largest trade association, and subscribes to the IFA Code of Ethics.

He is the Engineering Director for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Durham, NC (August 2022–present); prior, Operations Director at Thermo Fisher (February 2020–July 2022).

He is also CEO of Schrader Investment Group in Fuquay-Varina, NC (July 2024–present).

40 classroom hours plus 25 on-the-job hours — 65 total, per FDD Item 11 — delivered at our Henderson, NV HQ, virtually, or another location we designate, on subjects from shop setup, equipment, and technology to sales, office, marketing, and safety procedures.

Real estate

Site selection assistance

You select the site within your Designated Territory using Polar Tint’s site selection guidelines; HQ must approve the site and may review the lease terms and require your landlord to sign its Lease Agreement Rider (FDD Item 11).

Marketing — Frostbite Marketing

Local marketing + Brand Marketing Fund

Affiliate Frostbite Marketing provides local marketing, advertising, and promotion for each shop, funded by the franchisee’s local marketing fee (FDD Items 6 and 11). The Brand Marketing Fund is separate: Polar Tint administers it and may use it, at its discretion, for national and/or regional consumer advertising, with no guarantee of direct benefit (FDD Item 11).

Technology

POS + reporting platform

The monthly technology fee covers the designated technology package, including the website, marketing portal, Google Workspace, accounting software, and plotter software (FDD Item 6), and you use the point-of-sale system Polar Tint designates (FDD Items 7 and 11).

Glacier Manufacturing is the affiliated manufacturer — an affiliate company, not a parent. Franchisees buy window film, application tools and other designated shop items from affiliated manufacturer Glacier Manufacturing, currently the exclusive supplier of those items under FDD Item 8.
