Polar Tint LLC is a Nevada-registered limited liability company that owns the Polar Tint franchise system. Polar Tint LLC is operator-built — the playbook was developed by people who have been running window film shops in Las Vegas since 2015, not by consultants or investors with no in-bay experience.

The original Polar Tint operating playbook has been running since 2015 at affiliate shops in Las Vegas. The franchise system itself — the FDD, the SBA registration, the training program, the territory map — is the formalized version of the operating model proven over a decade of in-bay experience.

A real franchise. Polar Tint LLC files a current Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) with the relevant state franchise registrars, the franchise agreement is on the SBA Franchise Directory (which means the agreement has been pre-reviewed by the SBA so lenders can underwrite borrowers without re-approving the franchise documents), and franchisees pay disclosed initial and ongoing fees per Items 5 and 6 of the FDD. It is not a license, dealership, or affiliate program.

Las Vegas, Nevada — the same market where the affiliate operating shops have been running since 2015. The 40 classroom hours of franchise training take place at the Las Vegas flagship shop, in the same bay where the operating playbook was developed.

Glacier Manufacturing is the manufacturing partner — an affiliate company, not a parent. Polar Tint franchisees access film, ceramic, and PPF through Glacier at competitive manufacturer-direct pricing. The relationship is the unit-economics advantage that lets a Polar Tint shop run gross margins independents can't match over the operating lifetime.

Polar Tint LLC discloses its financial position in Item 21 of the FDD, which is provided to qualified candidates as part of the discovery process. Operator-level financial performance — gross sales, COGS, and gross profit at the affiliate shops — is disclosed in Item 19 of the FDD, a level of disclosure many competitor FDDs leave blank.
